I need to get the wedge pin out of the striker arm it’s #2 underlined in red. There is no easy way to get in there to punch it out but maybe someone has better tools to accomplish this. This is on the 77-78 5speed tail housing. Willing to drive/pay for time whatever needed I just need that out so I can replace the o ring. It’s the same shape as the spindle pin lock

Can you get a C-clamp on it and slowly tighten it to push it out till it breaks loose? It may be too tight to do that. My other "go to" option for impossible problems is the Scottsdale Machine shop.

I used a air hammer on the lever down towards the inside of the case with a nut on the wedge bolt and the thing pops right out

I drilled it out took me about 4-5 hours gradually stepping up bit sizes and hammering on the bolt.
This tool was the only thing that made it possible
