New Purchase

Post by Randalla »

Finally broke down today and bought an inexpensive ($40) borescope off Amazon. It should come next week. I'll try it out and report back. It will be available to loan out for those of you that have a need.

And here I thought it was another car!

I was just looking at those myself. Wi fi enabled so I could see on my laptop screen.

Looking forward to your feedback.

The borescope showed up today and it actually works pretty good for the price. Was able to verify that my Scarab engine has domed pistons and that the original L-24 from my orange Z still has the hone lines on the cylinder walls at about 145,000 miles. Let me know if anyone needs to borrow it. In case you are racking your brain trying to tell what's on the screen, it's the hood of Lisa's SUV

That's great Randy! Very nice tool to have. I have a real cheap one that doesn't have a screen.
It connects to iPhone via wifi. Its just "ok" for quality.
Nice to know what pistons you have. :)
