Just a quick update. I spoke to the President of Desert Z, who is spreading the word among their club membership. So far Desert Datsuns has 10 cars, and in the past Desert Z had at least as many, so I think this is shaping up to be a well attended event. We will plan to leave the McDonald's at Carefree Highway and the I-17 somewhere between 10:00-10:30 am on Saturday November 30th. I'll be calling the diner in Baghdad to see if they will reserve the restaurant for us, or at least a portion of the restaurant.

Just a quick reminder that this run is coming up quick, just a little over two weeks away. I just heard from DZA tonight that they will add 6-8 cars to the list of those of you that responded earlier in this thread. I will be giving a final number to the Diner on Main in Baghdad this coming Friday. If anyone who previously indicated they would be coming, can't come, please post here. Also if you have not yet indicated you would be coming but now plan to, please post up here as well. Current guesstimate is 15-18 cars going. Probably our best road trip of the year!

Baghdad is one week out from today. So far the long-term weather report for next Saturday looks pretty good, though it will likely be cool. Hoping for a good turnout. Please plan to be at the McDonald's at Carefree Highway and I-17 by 10:00 A.M. Thanks!

Not sure if I’ll come down and drive with you guys or just meet you in Baghdad. I’ll let you know as time gets closer.
