Scottsdale Cars & Coffee...Changes....Your thoughts?

Post by L320-Dale »

It seems the Scottsdale "Cars and Coffee" or "Scottsdale Motorsports Gathering" event has really changed. I know they were having some trouble with the location, as the last time I was there we were asked to leave by the Police. Now I see its for members only ($137 annually).

Looking at their list of "desired" cars, they don't seem to receptive to Japanese makes. I have been there many times with and without my Datsuns. I used to like the gathering. I don't know what all happened to make the changes necessary, but I don't see myself attending this gathering much anymore.

What are your thoughts on this once popular event?

It looks like they have disassociated themselves with Cars and Coffee given how they've titled the email. Have to agree with you Dale. Reading through this it's clear they really only want the deep pocket crowd attending. I'm hoping there may be someplace new that feels more welcoming to our group.
