To Bagdad and Back 2021

Post by Randalla »

Thanksgiving will soon be upon us and the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend has traditionally been the date for our Bagdad run. I haven't been sensing much interest on the site in general and am wondering if there's enough interest to organize a run this year. Let me know who among you would be in. Thanks. Per usual, we would likely open it up to Desert Z and Z-32 clubs if there is enough interest here.

So far it looks like there is at least some interest so I'll begin making arrangements. I was invited to Desert Z's meeting last night and there was a fair amount of interest in joining us.

So far I count 4 for Bagdad. Anyone else? I'm heading to the Desert Z meeting again tomorrow night to talk this up. Hoping to have at least 10 cars in order to make this worthwhile.

Talked to Pam, the owner, of the Diner on Main in Bagdad yesterday and we're locked in for lunch on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Also met with DZA last evening, spread the word and gained a few commitments from members. I'll be reaching out to the Tucson group later today. Please let me know no later than November 22 if you'll be going so I can provide the restaurant an accurate count. Thank you!
