WTB: 260Z Heater/Fan Switch

Post by SCARZME »

Anyone out there got one of 4 the speed fan switches? Or know someone that rebuilds them? Mine’s gone intermittent on high speed.

Well after not finding a replacement switch I decided to dig into this one. After straightening the 3 indents it came apart OK and nothing went flying. Turned out the grease had dried out and was caked all through the switch. Removed the contacts, springs and detent balls, cleaned everything and stretched the springs a little, put fresh dielectric grease throughout, put it back together and presto, all 4 speeds are working again.
