More of the ESPN "Glory Days" footage. This is the 1971 SCCA runoffs. John Morton and Bob Sharp hitting the track hard in both C production and B sedan. ESPN coverage is a bit commercial, but some good highlights. The 1971 season really moved Datsun into the spotlight for Sport racing brands.

Note: You have to smile when you see those big pork chop sideburns that Bob Sharp is styling.

Thanks Randy. Club racing in the 70s and 80s was a big interest for me. I watched the Porsche 935 and 917 at Sebring, the Alfa GTA, Mazda RX3 and Datsuns in the Nothwest region SCCA and again in the Gulf coast region SCCA. Somewhere along the way I have lost all my collection of photos, so digging for these old video clips has been a lot of fun.
