Scarab Owner Road Trip

Post by Randalla »

Really nice story, with pictures, of one of the fellow Scarab owner's drive with his daughter back from the Z convention in Branson, MS to his home in San Francisco, CA this past July.

I suppose you could take them both, one in the passenger seat and one lashed with the luggage straps in the hatch area :D

That was a cool story. Nothing beats a long road trip when you take your time to see some local sights.

Reminded me of the trip I took to pick up my 350Z in Atlanta. I joined up to old Route 66 in Oklahoma City, then drove 66 all the way to Holbrook. It was so much fun. Glad that I had AC to keep cool and AAA in case I had mechanical troubles along the way though. ;)

Lol reminds me of the time I had one kid in the back listening for where a squeak was coming from while I drove around

I guess using our kids as guinea pigs wouldn't be considered politically correct today. Gosh, I remember laying up on the package shelf behind the back seat of my parents Cadillac when I was a kid. My parents would probably go to jail for that today.
