So, I set up a donations page for those who expressed an interest in supporting our site.

I got a "new site discount" when we set this up, and got the first year for $48. Anticipated cost for succeeding years will be about $120/year. We have no other expenses, so when we hit that goal, don't send any more donations.... The web master would probably just spend them on beer.....

Look for the tiny Donations icon on the index bar. It goes to a Paypal link, and is supposed to show how much has been donated, and how close we are to that two year goal.

Thanks for setting up the donation link. It worked easy for me by clicking on the "Donations" link.
I like they way it shows our $$ goal and where we are at. Nice!

Nope, can't find it...

Might be helpful to post the link or screenshot of where we access the donation page. I know I'm old, but I can't see it... Hold my hand.

Look at the photo at the top of the page. Right below the photo is a light blue bar that extends across the page. That is the "Index Bar". The Index Bar is split horizontally, with the top having site links.

First link on the left is the "Quick Links". It provides links to view unread posts, new posts, etc.
Second link on the left is the "Donations" link. It takes you to the Donations page.
Third link on the left is the FAQ. FAQ is just a generic one right now, but I will try to customize it a bit later.

Right side of the index bar is your notifications, PM link, and sign in/user control panel.

I am planning on adding some external links to the index bar later, but need to test them on our development board first.

I see QuickLinks on left, and FAQ right next to it, no Donations.

Same as above, no donations link. I will check back tomorow.

I made a $20 donation today and I think it looks like it went through OK. Guy, can you confirm?
