Tires have a little narrower sidewall, so the ride is not quite as cushy.

I dig it.

little bit o' Hot-Rod flavor on the Roadster.

Major kudos to Paul for expertly diagnosing and fixing my turn signals, high beam headlights, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, welding my tramp rod bracket to the frame, and cleaning up some wiring. Really happy to have everything working. You can't believe how much peace of mind having working fuel and temperature gauges provides. Thanks again Paul.

So, I'm headed to Solvang with my Roadster in tow Thursday morning. This is the first time I've brought my car, but I've been there twice before. Reading a thread today on the 311 site I was reminded of Dale's catch on my car a few months ago, the dreaded crooked gas cap. I definitely didn't want to be shamed, or worse yet ticketed by the gas cap police there, so, one of the last things I did today was to properly orient the cap. Just had to loosen the clams up on the hose between the tank and filler neck and twist things around. I've never affixed the locking tab to my cap, and looking today, I seemed to have misplaced the key. Do any of you Roadster owners know if the 4 digit code under the cover (5641 on my cap) is sufficient to have a key made by a good locksmith?

I'm sure I'll be set straight on several other issues on my Roadster at the show but that's OK. Part of the reason for attending is to learn from the "experts." The other reason is to drive through the vineyards of Paso Robles, tasting fine wines for four days the following week. This has been on Lisa's and my bucket list since the Roadster was finished. Looking forward to a fun week!

This is all very exciting for you guys - can't help with the key though!

Good Luck and enjoy the wine and food.

I always enjoy Solvang, mainly for the pastries. Never been during the roadster show.

Got a key cut for the gas cap yesterday, so good to go.
