Did you get it all buttoned up Randy? How do you like the change? Remind me, did you go from a wide ratio to close ratio?

Just finished it up late this morning, but I have not yet had a chance to road test it.

Finally brought my L320 back to the house to do some work in it. It's been in my other garage for about 1.5 years and I think I've only driven it once since I took it out there. Nice to have it back home for a bit. I need to install a couple rear wheel cylinders that I rebuilt and get the brakes working again. Will drive it around enough to put fresh gas in it..

Fabricated a mounting plate and re-wired and moved my air/fuel gauge from inside the glove box to the area between the speedometer and the tach. Much more visible now that it's right in front of me.

After talking with Duffman a couple weeks ago, I've decided to try using the original air filter house on my 240Z instead of the dual chrome ones currently on it. I have the original filter box, but somewhere along its life someone decided to paint some of it black. I thought I would try removing the black paint while preserving the original orange. Hoping not to have to repaint it. So far, so good. Still more to go.

Nice job Dale! Must have been a real pain to get that paint off. Guessing some mild polishing compound will make it look almost like new.
