New Tire Difference

Post by Randalla »

Just had 4 new tires installed on the Z today. I previously had Hankook Ventus V4s- 205/50/16, and up-sized slightly to Hankook Ventus V2s- 205/55/16 (essentially the same tread pattern and price). Amazing the difference in ride between 10 year old tires and new, and a smidge more sidewall (the diameter is almost 1" greater). To my eye the new tires also improve the stance and fitment.
1967 1/2 Roadster- 1600 4 cyl.
1972 240Z- 280 I-6
1976 710 Wagon- L20B 4 cyl.
1977 620 King Cab - L18 4 cyl.
2003 350Z Track- VQ V-6

Sounds good! I think the 205/55R16 is what I have on my Z too. Any pictures yet?

Took these this morning. Now I can actually get the floor jack under the front air dam.
