Dash Covers

Post by L320-Dale »

Thinking about getting a Dash mat or Dash cover for my 240. My dash is in perfect shape and I want to keep it that way.
So thinking about just something to protect it when its parked in the sun. Anyone have a brand they like?
I had a nice one on my 70 roadster but I forget who made it now.

Dale, I recently purchased a new dash cover from Cover Craft and was very happy with it. The fit was perfect and the quality of the materials was very good. It came with enough Velcro to secure it to the dash. It might take a little longer to get because each one is made to order. My cost delivered was $53.

Thanks Randy! I will take a look at it on your car next time I see it.
What material did you go with? Carpet, Velour, Suede?
Do you happen to have a pic of it?

I went with carpet. Unfortunately it went with the 210 so I don't have the ability to take a photo. Maybe Danny, the buyer will.

Ahh, I see Randy. I was thinking you got one on the 240Z.
Thanks, I will still look into that one.

I wanted to post an update to this thread. I received my new dash cover yesterday. I'm pretty happy with it. I ended up going with "CoverKing" since they offer one that is molded, to better contour the dash. Here are some pictures, this was literally right out of the box after being rolled up. So I think it will get even better once its on the dash for a while and can "relax". As I mentioned before, my dash is perfect, but I just wanted something to keep the sun off while its out of the garage. I bought it from AutoAnything, they have them on sale for $51.99 + $3.98 shipping. I'm happy with it.

That really fits nice. The fact that it looks like it molds perfectly to the gauge pods is a huge plus. Nice.
