Finished DynaMatting the floor this afternoon. Still need to do the doors and rear of cab, but it definitely quiets things down. Also installed a new shift lever pin and bushings to tighten things up.

Did you use Fatmat or Dynamat? Where did you buy it?

Actually, it's a generic version rather than either of those brands. I'm sure it's not as good, but my budget build budget has been exceeded and I'm not wanting to dump any more $ in it than necessary. I did order a new speedo pinion today, however, in an effort to make the speedometer report more accurately. Changing from a red 20 tooth, to a white 19 tooth. Changing out the O rings and inside seal at the same time to see if that solves some of my oil leaking issue.

Rebuilding my 1983 FS5W71B today has lots of hidden seals that need to be replaced to keep it leak free. All still avaialble from nissan

The "adventure" ended today. Sold "Buckwheat" to a surgeon in Paradise Valley. Never would have predicted that :lol: Kind of sorry to see him go but life moves on and now I've got a new project to focus on.
