Thinking about my 50 year old wiring harness and wondering if I should consider replacing it. Thoughts?

I still have the original harness in my 240 and everything still is working. That doesn't mean it will in 5-10 years however. Now would definitely be the time to do it while everything is still accessible. If I was to go through my car again it would definitely be on my list. I put a brand new harness in my Roadster when I restored it, and glad I did.

You mean engine bay? I'm guessing that cuz everything else is pretty much buttoned up. Definitely build a new one, you have the connectors to do it for the most part - and it's one of the easier harnesses to build. Plus you can add headlight relays straight into it rather than them being an afterthought.
