'71 for sale

Post by Pepper »

I have a friend putting up his 1971 240z for sale. He hasn't listed it anywhere yet, just reached out to a couple of friends. He started to tear it down for rebuild including removing the dreaded sunroof...

What are your thoughts on asking price?

The z is located in Vegas, and is in a rebuild stage as you can see in the pics. It's runs and drives but needs to be finished. Top end rebuild in 2014, Z therapy carbs.

Assuming the car is complete, the roof won't be fixed before sale, and the car will need to be painted and re-assembled, I'd say it's probably worth $8,000-$10,000 to the right buyer.

Thanks Randy. I wish I had the room, it seems like it would be a nice project.
