there is rumors that firebird raceway will be no more and be replaced with hotels. that sux there will be no main attraction to go there, i mean there is a casino and hotel already there i heard that NHRA and john force / tony schumacher and other well known racers are trying to save it

It took a bit of googling before I found the article published by AZBigmedia on DRAGZINE it says it`s already approved by the Gila Indian community.
And will include the full 37 acres. they are talking about moving the strip somewhere else in their land. Truly sad times for race fans. there's no mention about any parties saving it.
