Introductions
Re: Introductions
Glad you found your way back after your hiatus. Things here have been a bit slow of late but we are hoping to get things rolling again once we get Covid behind us. Good that you kept your Z and didn't part with it when the kids came along as is sometimes the case. Is your car in drivable condition? We'll have a run coming up during the first quarter of the year so stay tuned.

Re: Introductions
Thanks!
My parents both had Z cars when I was a kid, and got rid of them both when my brother was born. I'm trying to avoid that. We'll see how it goes
Unfortunately, I doubt I'll have it ready for any driving anytime soon. I started pulling it apart to have it stripped and start metal repairs.

Re: Introductions
Hi Datsun fans. I just discovered DD and decided to join you in this hobby (sickness, passion, whatever).
I have had my car since 1980 and is on it fourth engine and second paint job, needs paint again!
Anyway I am happy to be on here and look forward to meeting you all.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or comments, I love this car and this hobby.
I live in Gilbert.

Hey Karl,
Welcome to the group from another member here in Gilbert. Good looking early Roadster you have. I had a 70 Roadster for awhile, but sold it a few years ago. Hope to see you and your car at some future meets.

Karl,
Enjoyed talking with you earlier today and learning of our common Michigan roots and Roadster ownership. Glad you found us, and thrilled you'll be joining our "Roosevelt Lake Loop Run" in February. Look forward to checking out your Ford turbo install.
