Ryan, You have done so much to your Z. Great job. I need to get over to see it some day, since your are so close.

Guess I will be next.

I have been to several events, I am the guy who never brings a Datsun.

Paul , Usually in a some sort of Integra, Civic, Miata, or SHO. I don't actually own a Datsun, but met Randy and a couple of the guys here at a car show several years ago and joined the forums.

I work at Hot Rods by Dean, Mechanical/Electrical. I live in the North Valley. Dabble in 3D Printing, photography, and of course cars of all flavors. Generally if it has wheels, wings, or rudder I am in.

I am Charlie (Charlie69 on the forums) I was dubbed the truck guy by a couple of members at Ryans Celebration of Life. I have 3 720s, 2 521s, and 2 520s.

I enjoy trucks and junk yards.

I am currently working on a Z20 engine for my 86 720 King Cab 2wd so I can drive it to Williams.

I chose not to move my trheads from the old Desert Datsuns Forum and will be starting new threads here.

I stay real busy with my addiction.

I live in the Southwest Phoenix Valley.

My trucks are not pretty but I daily drive my 86 720. I believe in "drive them like you stole them".
I will be starting a thread on my 66 520 and my 86 720 soon.

hi guys- my name is Austin and I recently joined the "new" DD site, but was also a member of the old site.
I live in Mesa and am in my late 40's, and have been into Datsuns ever since a co-worker at a bicycle shop I worked at in Eugene, OR in the 80's introduced me to his 510 (white with big flares, and a stock green one). Then in college, another co-worker at another bicycle shop I worked at in Corvallis owned a 4-door 510 which had a built L20B with dual webers (bicycle mechanics and sport/import cars run in the same circles I guess). He invited me to a track day at PIR and I was hooked! I've owned a '57 Austin Healey 100-6 with a Datsun L24 and 280 5-speed swap, for over 30 years. I had a 510 wagon briefly in college, then was Datsun-less until about 2010 when I bought a rusty 510 in Tempe, and later bought one of Randy's 240Z's (a satin black one). Both are works-in-progress. Attached (if I did it correctly) is a pic of my 510 which has an L20B, 5 speed, 15" minilite-style wheels, etc. It lived in the Vegas area before I bought it. I replaced the floor sheet metal, installed the L20 and 5-speed, stripped and painted it myself in my garage, and am slowly working on the interior. I'll post a pic of my 240Z when I get a chance to take a good picture of it.
I'm also a fan of Fiats, big Healeys, air-cooled Porsches and BMW 2002's. Nice to join the group again!
Best,
Austin
