I received this email from the Desert Z club. Oregon Z car owner looking for a replacement roof panel...... Maybe someone here might have a lead for him? I have Bill's email and phone if you have a lead.

A plea for help ...

I am looking for a "new" roof for my 1971 Datsun 240Z that I have owned since 1977. I am getting ready to restore it for the second time.

I stupidly had a sun roof installed in 1979 while living in California. I regret this decision to this day. It leaked, latches broke, and wind noise was present.

Please point me in a direction where I might find a replacement roof. I am willing to pay a finders fee and whatever shipping is required.

I am contacting you because I feel there might be a rust free roof somewhere that an AZ club member would be aware of, or a special AZ junkyard that specialized in minimally rusted 240Z parts cars.
