Ashley bought a 3" butt cusion for herself for the z, I guess seeing over the steering wheel is important to her :o :o :D
Drivers fender was missing the lip that folds under located just infront of the wheel (a mount point for air dams). I had another fender, so today the driver's fender was replaced, grill installed along with the 280z turn signal bezels, and new air damn installed. I thought I had 240z front bumper but turns out is was the rear. I found the short center portion of the one I had cut the ends off for my car, so I installed that to see how the grill & airdam looked together with a bumper. Wasn't sure if I was going to go customer grill or use the 280z. After fitting things I believe the oem grill will do.
Looks like I will be considering buying brand new 240z after market bumpers. Is there any that are better than others or are the all from the same mfg?

Yesterday....well....I rode dirtbikes :-)

Ashley express interest in to having Daylight Driving Lights, so to add a bit more safety to this car, I converted the 280z turn lights into Daytime Driving Lights. They stay on 15 seconds after turning off the car then go out, and also dim when the headlights are turned on. :) :)
When I replaced the orange lenses with clear, added some night LED bulbs, I found one still had a very tired reflective surface inside while the other had none. Cleared out the old surface and used spay adhesive to add an aluminum foil reflection surface inside the lights/behind the bulbs to increase reflective light. It really made a big improvement.
