Road Runner Lunch Run

Yesterday's lunch event was so successful, thank you Carl, I thought it might be fun to follow it up with another on Saturday, February 6th. This one will include a short run prior to lunch at the Road Runner Restaurant and Saloon off I-17, in New River. For those who haven't been there before, it's a rustic, Western themed joint, with indoor and outdoor seating, known for its bar fare and large portions. Meet up spot will be Walgreen's drug store at the corner of Pima and Pinnacle Peak roads, 8816 E Pinnacle Peak Rd. Scottsdale 85255, at 11:30 am. We have a nice route planned. Post up so we know how many to expect. Thanks!

Well, lots of views but so far it looks like only Chuck and I for lunch. Anyone else planning on coming out? Here's the route:

- Depart from Walgreens parking lot on the NE corner of Pima Rd. and Pinnacle Peak Rd.


- Head W on Pinnacle Peak Rd., taking it to Cave Creek Rd. (8 miles)


- Turn N (right) on Cave Creek Rd and take it to Sonoran Desert Parkway (2 miles)


- Turn W (left) on Sonoran Desert Parkway and follow it to North Valley Parkway/N 27th Drive (10 miles)


- Turn N (right) on North Valley Parkway/N 27th Drive and take it to Carefree Highway (4 miles)


- Turn E (right) onto Carefree Highway following it to 7th Street (4 miles)


- Turn N (left) on 7th Street. Follow 7th Street, which becomes North New River Road, to the restaurant which will be on your right, just before you reach I-17 (10 miles)


- Return via I-17
