WTB 240Z shell or complete car

Post by austinc »

hi guys- I haven't been active here in a while. I'm helping a friend source a decent 240Z shell or complete car. He's the original owner of a '73 240Z that is too far gone to restore, so he's looking for a decent shell to rebuild his car. If anyone knows of something in AZ, please let me know. He'll pay a finder's fee.
(Hi Randy, I still have your 240Z but my wife and I have a 2-year old so haven't been as active as I would have liked!).
thanks,
Austin in Mesa

Hey Austin, good to hear you're still in the Valley and still have my old Z. I hope it's still running. Actually, I have a 71 Z that I will be listing on CL in the near future. It will be in the $15-16K range, which may be more than your friend is interested in paying. It's currently at my house if he's interested in seeing it. Hoping to see you and my old Z in the near future. Cheers!

hi Randy- thanks for the reply and yes, you're old Z is still running and driving, just haven't had a lot of spare time to enjoy it!
Glad to hear you're staying busy. Your '71 sounds good but probably more than he's willing to go and needs since he's essentially going to swap everything over from his car to a donor, but I'll let him know. Keep in touch!
thanks,
Austin

Also it’s great to have this forum as a resource, donation of $25 to Guy made to help defray site costs. Thanks!

Thanks!

Brian ( Racerx3110) mentioned a guy named Cody in Tucson who was parting a couple of Z's. May be worth checking out for a Z tub. Rebuildable stuff is getting pretty scarce though.

Thanks for the contribution Austin! It doesn't cost a lot to keep things rolling but every bit helps defray costs. Really appreciate it. Would be great to see some current pics of your Z to when you have a chance.

thanks Randy- contributing to the site was the easy part! Participating (which I hope to do more of) and contributing to this group requires more effort! I'll post a proper intro on the "Introductions" page with some car pics. Is your mobile number the same? I sent you a text yesterday.
thanks! Austin

May have a new number as I didn't get your text Austin. My cell number is 602-312-4038. Sounds like we need to get caught up on our most recent acquisitions.
