You're welcome Randy, it was a fun day. Again, nice car and I'm sure you will have it all cleaned up in no time.
It just needs the Randalla TLC. ;)

Nice looking car Randy. Is it gonna be a keeper or a fix-n-sell project?

Is it a calif model?

Probably a fix and sell car. The car was sold new in ID but also spent time in UT and AZ. Got it running and driving today and took it out for a short drive. For an L-24 it's really pretty quick. Matching number engine with E-31 head.

Thanks Ryan! been spending a lot of time tidying it up after getting it running. Had to re-do the wiring to the starter and then eventually replace the starter, which was DOA. Finding both good and a few bad surprises as I go. One of the good surprises was the contents of the glove box (below). One of the bad surprises will require a little welding. Would appreciate any recommendations.

Great find Randy !!!

I especially like that the original owners card was in the glove box. That card is worth million$

Just a quick update. I've now replaced all the hoses in the cooling system, fuel system, and the wiper washer hoses, re-wired the windshield squirter motor, installed a new starter, bled clutch and brakes (fluid was black) and loads of other small stuff. Next up is inspecting front and rear brakes and repairing an exhaust leak.
