Replaced all the valve seals this weekend now I think I need to replace my back from bending over. First pair took a while but got the process down to maybe 20 minutes per cylinder. Getting the little valve collets back on was the hardest part for me. Mostly because the tool I was using seemed to not press straight down on the springs.

Well been a while but did a lot recently. Pulled the engine and did all new rings and bearings along with a dingle ball hone. Put in new brass coolant plugs also. Breaking the rings back in I got about 20 miles on it now and starting to feel really good. Then put a screwdriver in my radiator because I was being dumb and put in a new radiator.

I just put in a crane xr3000 ignition and ps60 coil because well I dunno other than I think I am going to rewire the car this summer and I like electronics. The review so far is feels just like the same car as before just without the 40 year old electronic ignition

Thanks now my steering wheel I finished although I think that semi gloss black might not be the right color and might redo it not sure yet. Sure is a thin wheel to hold wasn’t used to it at first.

That really looks nice Ryan and sets off the whole dash. Did you build up layers of clear on the rim? yeah, the rim does feel pretty whimpy.

Yeah I did 3 layers of clear on the black paint. It’s growing on me though.
