If I were about 20 years younger and a lot more tech saavy this would have been very tempting buy. Going to speed week has always been a dream of mine.

27k - That is a absolute ridiculous steal of deal for that, you buy the powertrain and get the rest for free basically.

I have been to the Bonneville Speed week a couple times with customer running a '55 Chevy in B/CGC (198mph) and everything you hear about how awesome of an experience it is - is completely true. I will go back one of these years with something. Just for comparison - the '55 we built cost over a quarter mil to put together. I will bet that if you ignore the classing - that Z would be faster, with less effort and for a tenth of the price.
