Re: Pavillions Car Show, No More?
My usual Summer MO for the PAVs was to arrive after sunset. Then they started to chase everyone off at 8:00 so that killed it for me. I'm just not into baking in the sun. Evenings in October sound good. I can give you a firm "maybe" on the 3rd as we have some other things going that day. :D

Re: Coolant Flush
Chuck's post got me thinking. When I worked for the City they sited a new landfill out in Buckeye. They had well water for dust control, but needed to do something for the crew to wash and drink. They put in a huge RO treatment system, and they had to permit it with the state as a water treatment fa...

Re: Posting video clips, movies and other media
Wow, 375 HP per liter. Of course this probably gets refreshed after every race. Travis was a very promising young Motocross racer, but his love of freestyle stunts and the resulting injuries precluded any serious title runs. He still does odd events as well as his nitro circus brand troupe stunts. h...

Re: Coolant Flush
Interesting article on coolant. Makes me wonder if HOAT or SI-OAT coolant might not be good for our old cars as well. https://blog.fcpeuro.com/how-to-pick-the-right-coolant-for-your-car?utm_medium=email&utm_source=bc_batch&utm_campaign=Weekly+Digests&obem=ih0jsGQLvBU-dxLFmvEifZ6h7PTDoGG_...

Re: 240Z questions.
I used ATF back in the day, but AFT was different back then. Dexron was slippery for smooth shifts. I think it originally contained oil from sperm whales. Type F produced a firmer shift so the hot rodders would use that. Todays dexron/mercon is in the type F camp. I have a couple bottles of fork oil...

Re: Coolant Flush
The first time was just dumping what was in the system. The next three times I filled the system with distilled water, drove 20 or so miles, then drained again. Yeah, I know, not really a flush, more a rinse. Didn't really need to use distilled water, but I had some and bought a couple more gallons...
