Re: 21k-Mile 1971 Datsun 240Z Series I - on BAT
I'm not so sure about that guys....... Regarding the price of a comparable Series I XKE Roadster, BAT sold this very nice low mile car sold in 2019 for $135K https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-jaguar-xke-roadster-4/ Sorry Randy, the Jag is completely refurbished and in no way a good comparison....

Randy, not many cars in this condition. If the Jag was a low mile unrestored car in excellent condition how much would that go for? Well north of a million I would guess.
The bad news for the buyers of such cars is that it needs to stay that way to hold the value. You can't drive and enjoy them.

Is the beemer Lisa's car? Seems like this would be more likely to replace another sedan.

Re: Barrett-Jackson 2020 sales
Maybe the published sales price includes the buyer's premium?
I heard there were a couple Z's at Russo and Steel. Don't see the docket on their website though.

Geez the Honda 600 car went for 20 grand.
Dale, you were right about the red Tiger. $148,500 plus premium.

Re: Barrett-Jackson 2020 sales
It seems that the placement in the Auction has something to do with the expected price. Cars placed early in the day and in the week are not the headliners. So even though I think most of our group agreed the silver 240 was the nicest Z there, BJ thought the "matching numbers" car with mis...

Re: Scrap Metal
Not scrap, but Industrial metal supply at 5150 S 48th St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 is probably where Randy is referring to. They do have a discount rack out back for cut sections.
