The inside was not too bad of shape I am going to try PDR stuff to get all the dents out since I don’t want to weld studs to pull them. Hopefully I can get them out then try really cleaning the inside

I know this is a long shot but anyone have a fuel tank for 75-76? Mine is all dented and causing fueling issues and most likely filled with rust. I am dropping it today to inspect the inside.

The rear fuel area now has all new hoses because still had original hoses

75k on the odometer but previous owner thinks it rolled over to 175k. I will do a compression test soon but I agree it does sound really good. No odd noises and no smoke, smells rich though

All the engine bay fuel hoses have been replaced as well as the clamps boy I do hate the 75 fuel rail the 78 is so much nicer in one piece. Did all the common tune up steps and started it up. It was running really rough so I tapped on all the injectors and bam purring good now. I was going to get it...

I ended up selling the 78. I really enjoyed working on it and there was kinda nothing left to do unless I wanted to get extreme so I let it go. My plan with this one will be keep it more stock and just replace parts I can’t fix instead of replacing every single thing and changing the entire car. So ...
